Before founding National DME, Scott started two other healthcare related companies. The first, Video Home Rehab, developed the first 'Ankle Sprain Kit' to guide patient's through post injury home
therapy. He successfully licensed this product to Intermountain Healthcare in 1995 and later sold the company. The second, Sports Specifics, developed the 'Strong Arm Strength Trainer' to assist
baseball players in strengthening their rotator cuff. This product was licensed to Alimed, Inc. in 1997. Scott attended the University of Utah where he played football and studied exercise and sports science.
